SUBECT DE LIMA TO FINANCIAL REVIEW!

Sept. 19, 2016

A story in gmanews.tv quoted Justice Sec. Vitaliano Aguirre as saying that according to New Bilibid Prison (NBP) inmate Herbert Colangco, he gave P3 million in protection money to Leila de Lima monthly when she was Justice secretary.  Since De Lima was Justice chief from June 2010 to October 2015, that translates to 64 months or P192 MILLION. In the same story, Aquirre said former NBI Deputy Director Rafael Ragos made several deliveries of P5 million each to De Lima’s house. So since De Lima will not attend the initial House of Representatives hearing on the accusations against her tomorrow:

A joint/inter-agency effort must be conducted IMMEDIATELY to examine De Lima\s financial records, BOTH as a private individual and as former Justice secretary Not only hers but those of people whom she trusts, especially her former driver and alleged lover Ronnie Dayan. .

Whoever is in charge had better start finding a way how to get the cooperation of the Anti-Money Laundering Council in opening up and checking the bank accounts of De Lima and the people she trusts  Especially during De Lima’s term at the Justice department. The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and other related agencies should start going over the taxes they pay and their registered assets, as against their declared financial capacity.

Most of all,  anyone who knows anything relevant to the accusations of illegal drug links De Lima is facing should share their information. They can contact the offices of their congressmen at the House of Representative and ask how can they relay what they know.
