DRUGLORDS EARN UP TO P18B MONTHLY

You read it right. Druglords earn as much as P18 BILLION a month from the estimated three million users and addicts nationwide, as realized by President Digong Duterte himself during his just concluded visit to Vietnam. Media reports say that a billionaire pointed out to Digong that if the estimated three million addicts and users spend the usual P200 daily on drugs, that amounts to P600 MILLION, Multiply the P600 million by the average 30 days a month and the total would be P18 billion. Multiply P18 billion by the 12 months of the year and you get a staggering P216 BILLION, THREE TIMES MORE than what the government earns from, mining as Digong himself admitted.

Spend as much as P16 billion on bribes and operating expenses and druglords will still be P200 billion richer.

Even if you reduce the estimated three million users and addicts by half to 1.5 million, the results would still be P300 million a day, P9 billion a month and P108 billion a year.  Allocate as high as P8 billion for bribes and operating expenses and a cool P100 billion would still be left to the druglords.
