Look at how hypocritical Leila de Lima can
get on the malicious reports that President Duterte had given the ‘go-signa’
for the execution of Mary Jane Veloso:
A story in inquirer.net said according to De
Lima, saving Veloso life had been important during the Aquino administration,
especially to the Department of Justice, which she had headed. Veloso was
sentenced to death in October 2010.
Anybody correct me if I’m wrong but the
Aquino Administration was ONLY REPORTED as having aggressively acted on her case
sometime in 2015, when she was on the brink of death and the fever for the 2016
polls was already raging. NOT EARLIER! If
Veloso had been really that important, they should have acted as early as late
2010, WHEN THE 2016 POLLS WERE STILL YEARS AWAY.
De Lima said
she was “sad and
heartbroken” that Duterte would just throw away their efforts to save Veloso when
he can still request that the execution be deferred or withheld.
Duterte WOULD NOT HAVE TALKED to Indonesian
President Widodo about Veloso if he didn’t care about her. That’s HIGH SCHOOL COMMON
SENSE. And Duterte didn’t need to request for the deferment of the execution because
as Foreign Affairs Sec. Perfecto Yasay had reported earlier, Veloso has been pulled
out of death row INDEFINITELY. Not just until tomorrow or Sunday but
indefinitely. So which is which – De Lima had not read media reports on Yasay’s
pronouncement, or she had read but had DELIBERATELY IGNORED IT.
And in a vulgar attack on the government’s
anti-drug war, De Lima said: Mapa-judicial o extra-judicial execution, yan na
ang polisiya ng gobyerno.”
HINDI si De Lima ang FOREIGN AFFAIRS
SECRETARY. Hindi rin siya ang Presidente ng bansa. Hindi ako abugado pero
mangangahas akong sabihin na WALANG KAPANGYARIHAN ang isang senador na HUSGAHAN
O IDIKTA ang foreign policy ng bansa, At kung talagang ganoong kahalaga ang
buhay ng tao para sa kaniya, bakit NI ISANG SALITA O REKLAMO WALA SIYANG MASABI
sa mga NAPATAY NA AT PINAPATAY PA ng mga drug lords sa pamamagitan ng kanilang illegal
na produkto? Hindi na ba uso ang magpaka-tutoo ngayon?30
