Andres Bautista’s brother Martin showed off a posh house in Oklahoma in the US
which he said came from investments by both of them and their clan. Martin said
the house proves that Andres holds
property that is legitimate and not
ill-gotten or unexplained as alleged by Andres’ estranged wife Patricia.

First: It’s ANDRES ALONE whom Patricia had
accused of amassing an estimated P1 billion, or US$50 million at the current
exchange rate, in alleged ill-gotten wealth. So IT’S ANDRES WHO SHOULD PRESENT
PROOF that his wealth and possessions were from CLEAN MONEY. Not Martin, not
anyone else among their family. Andres’ CONTINUED
FAILURE to show even a single document proving his wealth is clean only drives
him further DOWN THE GUTTER.
Second: Martin said it was his house. Not his and
Andres’! He said it came from the proceeds of investments by the two of them
and the rest of the clan. But he DID HE NOT SPECIFY THE INVESTMENTS, NOR SHOWED
PAPERS for these. He did not reveal HOW MUCH did Andres earn, and when were
these investments started. So except for Martin’s MERE words, HOW THE HELL can
his house be PROOF that Andres has no ill-gotten wealth?
Third: Martin said he tried to speak to
Patricia about the alleged ill-gotten wealth, but she never gave him a chance. Again,
Patricia accused Andres ALONE. Not you. So strictly speaking, you don’t have to
explain anything.
Martin said they have offshore investment
accounts and that Andres is the one handling these. But he did not specify the
investments and how much is Andres earning, or has earned. On the 35 passbooks at Luzon Development Bank,
Martin said: “I think 18 of those are expired. We don’t know just what they are
talking about. We were never allowed to see what bankbooks they are talking
about. Their evidence is so tainted.” Then it’s both STUPIDITY AND IMPOSSIBLE
for you to prejudge them as tainted, with 18 as expired, if you were never
allowed to see them or you don’t even know what Patricia is talking about.
Bottomline, Martin made Andres look more
suspicious than honest. Sumagot na ang

Luma na yang drama nyo...Nagawa ni ng Arroyo brothers yan noon...Bakit daw sila magnakaw eh mayaman na man daw sila!? Again sino ba ang mga notoriuos na magnanakaw ng pinas? Simulan natin sa pinakamayaman - Lucio Tan, Arroyo brothers, Marcoses, Danding Cojuanco..you name it.
