Sept. 9, 2016!
!Until I started writing this piece, I did not
see even a single story on the supposed global protest against the burial of
former President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani (LMB) in major
media websites. Earlier, press releases
had said the supposed protest was scheduled last Wednesday, Sept. 7 Being a
former media man myself, I can say that this only means two things-Either NOBODY
JOINED or the participants were too few that organizers could not even call it
a picket.
Otherwise, video footages and stories on how
big and widespread the protests were would have FLOODED not just national media
but Facebool and other social media sites as well. Organizers would have done
that in the FIRST FEW HOURS after the supposed mass action began. It would have
been solid proof of their repeated claims that FM’s burial at LMB would further
divide the Filipino people. But NOTHING, as in NONE. in leading national ,websites
as of this writing.
YOU ARE THE ONES dividng the people, the
country!30
