REAL PARENTS FOR POE'S PUBLICITY STUNT!

This early, start IGNORING issues on Sen. Grace Poe‘s real parents. It’s clearly a PUBLICITY GIMMICK aimed at drawing public sympathy for her being an adopted child who never knew her real father and mother and yet had decided to serve, and wish to continue serving the people in a higher position.

With the obvious end-goal being to hide her critical lack of experience and skills in serving as vice-president or president of the country.

In a story in inquirer.net, Poe claimed her search for her real parents continues since her adoptive mother, actress Susan Roces, has belied long-running rumors that she is an illegitimate daughter of former President Ferdinand Marcos. But when asked if she was willing to take a DNA test which can help identify her parents, Poe readily DECLINED. She was found abandoned somewhere in Jaro, Iloilo when she was a baby. She said she has gone to Jaro several times and talked to the family who found her, and to her friends, for information on her parents and how was she found. But nobody could tell her anything. Assuming that this is true, then a DNA TEST is her LAST AND BEST HOPE and for sure she knows it.

WHY, then, should anyone BELIEVE HER when she REJECTED OUTRIGHT A POSSIBE MEANS that could SHORTEN HER SUPPOSED QUEST?

Poe did not say whether or not Ms. Roces revealed who her true parents were. Considering Poe’s age and social status, it would be both RIDICULOUS AND STUPIDITY for Ms. Roces not to come out with the truth, yet. Any way you look at it, there’s no stumbling block to what Poe has all the right to finally know. Unless, Ms. Roces is SCARED OF REPERCUSSIONS BEYOND HER CONTROL should she identify Poe’s true parents. In which case, Poe will NOT BE TRANSPARENT AND TRUTHFUL to the people, two of the most important non-legal qualifications the vice-president or president of the country must have

Keep in mind people, the presidency or the vice-presidency is NOT, and SHOULD NEVER BE, just a question of who’s popular or abandoned/abused and deserving of public sympathy. What matters most is COMPETENCE. 30
