Reacting to the dismissal of the impeachment complaint against him before the House of Representatives, Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Andres ‘Andy’ Bautista said in a gmanews.tv story (http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/news/nation/626509/poll-chief-bautista-dismissal-of-impeach-rap-a-significant-step-in-clearing-my-name/story/) that it was a significant step to clearing his name. He even added “As I have always maintained, the allegations are fabricated and baseless,"

The impeachment complaint against you was dismissed ONLY for being insufficient in form, and NOT IN EVIDENCE! The allegations against you were based on PHYSICAL EVIDENCE PRESENTED by your wife Patricia. I am not a lawyer but I will dare say that FORM IS NOT THE SAME AS EVIDENCE. For the information of the less-knowledgeable, the complaint dismissed by the House was ONLY FOR IMPEACHMENT and your removal from office, and not for the possible CRIMINAL aspects of Patricia’s claims of your alleged illegal activities. And as a lawyer, you know that only the Office of the Ombudsman or other similar bodies, or a court of law if any complaint against you reaches that level, can clear your name.

HINDI ANG ANUMANG GAWIN NG HOUSE. Kaya SUPER KAPAL NAMAN TALAGA NG MUKHA MO, Andy, para magyabang agad na ipinakita ng dismissal na fabricated and baseless ang mga akusasyon laban sa iyo.  Itama ako ninuman kung mali ako pero HANGGANG NGAYON NGA, WALA KA PANG MAIPAKITANG PISIKAL NA EBIDENSIYA na kasinungalingan ang mga pinagsasabi ni Patrticia laban sa iyo.

HINDI TANGA ang Sambayanan, Andy. Hanggang wala kang naipapakitang ebidensiya mo, kahit man lamang kung SAAN NANGGALING ang mga deposito mo sa bangko, ALAM NA ALAM NAMING BALE-WALA ang dismissal ng impeachment complaint laban sa iyo ng House. At huwag magkalimutan, may MAS MALAKING ISYU ka pang isang taon nang mahigit ay HINDI MO SINASAGOT AT PATULOY NA BINABALE-WALA. 30
