Here’s why the latest killings of teenagers
is indeed meant to sabotage the government’s anti-drug war:
First: The killings either happened during,
or WERE AUTOMATICALLY AND MALICIOUSLY LINKED to, anti-drug war operations. Like
the death of Carl Arnaiz, who was killed after he ALLEGEDLY ROBBED A TAXI
DRIVER and not for selling illegal drugs.
Second: The Duterte Administration will NOT
GAIN ANYTHING out of these deaths. Even
a janitor or jeepney driver will readily comprehend that the killings will ONLY
INCITE PUBLIC ANGER at President Digong. In which case, ONLY ANTI-DUTERTES WILL
WIN.
Third: Wonder of wonders, the fatalities were
all teenaged boys. Kids who never would have stood a chance against armed
policemen in a fair and square fight. And yet were all killed brutally, and helplessly.
What else could be more INFURIATING to the public.
And as I had pointed out in an earlier blog,
anti-Dutertes complain and lambast the government in every manner they can
think of. But NEVER has anyone of them attacked or condemned drug lords and
pushers, the SOURCES of illegal drugs and the CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES resulting
from addiction.
