SERENO, BAUTISTA HAVE 2 THINGS IN COMMON!

Even though they head two different bodies, Supreme Court (SC) Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno and Comelec Chairman Andres Bautista have two things in common: Both are appointees of former President PNoy Aquino and both do not show any sense of urgency in leading their respective agencies to act as soon as possible on two key issues involving the Marcoses.

The SC, acting as the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) has not yet started hearings or deliberations on the electoral protest of Bongbong Marcos against Leni Robredo. Anybody correct me if I’m wrong but there’s been no news that even a tentative schedule has been drawn up for it. This despite Bongbong’s submission of some 20,000 pieces of evidence and compliance to all PET directives. Robredo has also submitted her reply, several days; LATE bur was still accepted by the PET.

The SC has also not announced te resumption of deliberations on the opposition to the burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos (FM) at the Libingan ng mga Bayani (LMB). This despite the failure of those against the burial to present any law that bars Marcos’s remains from the LMB. As well as the submission of one million signatures in support of the burial.

At the Comelec, Bautista and his people are still IGNORING Bongbong Marcos’ demand for a private sector examination of the UNAUTHORIZED CHANGE by Smartmatic in the script of the transparency server during Election Day.  There’s been no news either that the Comelec has already acted on Bongbong’s other concerns.  

Public funds continue to be spent on Robredo’s HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE assumption to the vice-presidency.  There’s no indication whatsoever as to when Robredo’s legitimacy will be decided with finality. And we, the people, have to pay tens or even hundreds of millions for this indefinite wait, which includes the long-deserved burial of FM at LMB. .
