Leni Robredo directly denied having an affair with party-mate Quezon City
Representative Jorge “Bolet” Banal. She said he’s with her often because he was
a "political close-in" and a close friend of her late husband Jesse.
First
time I’ve heard of a ‘political close-in.’ I know of close-in bodyguards or
close-in aide but never of a political close-in.
So
WHAT EXACTLY does Banal do for you, Ms. Robredo? His duties and
responsibilities and how much do you pay him? The people have the RIGHT TO KNOW
because you’re SPENDING OUR TAXES on anything and everything related to the Office
of the Vice-President.
Elections
are still more than a year away. You DO NOT HAVE ANY JOB OR RESPONSIBILITY in government
that involves political issues or negotiations. So why the need for Bolet?
Especially in almost everywhere you go? And how often is she with you, or
should be with you? Anybody can react.
