In http://usa.inquirer.net/12483/fil-ams-raise-funds-bicol-town-infirmary-forgotten-time,
Leni Robredo was quoted as saying this at a fundraiser of an organization in
the US: “We do not really have the mandate to execute programs and projects,
and do not really have a prescribed function other than be the constitutional
successor of the President, just in case something happens to him. This is the
reason why our office has one of the smallest budgets in the bureaucracy. Kapag tiningnan niyo po ang
budget ng Pilipinas, pinakamaliit na budget iyong aming opisina [If you look at the
Philippine budget, the OVP (Office of the Vice-President has the smallest
funding]. We are largely regarded as a spare tire.”
YOUR WORDS, Robredo.
So if you don’t have the mandate to execute programs and
projects as you admit, then you had better prove FAST that these gimmicks are
NOT ILLEGAL and a waste of our hard-earned taxes. Anybody correct me if I’m wrong but the OVP
has hundreds of millions for its budget.
HOW MUCH have you spent for this ‘laylayan’ stunt, Ms. Robredo, and for
the rest of OVP expenses and WHERE ARE THE SUPPORTING PAPERS?
Calling on the Commission on Audit (COA)… 30
Oops dapat audit yan
