LENI ALLIES’ STUPIDITY AT ITS FINEST!

In http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/news/nation/652666/robredo-allies-ask-comelec-to-uphold-25-shading-threshold/story/, supporters of Leni Robredo were reported as having gone to Comelec to uphold the 25-percent threshold for ballot shading in connection with the recount of votes covered by Bongbong Marcos’ protest against her.

This is NOTHING LESS than STUPIDITY at its finest hour.

EVERYBODY knows that as early as 2017, Bongbong’s protest has been pending with the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET). It’s the PET WHO HAS THE SOLE POWER to decide or rule on any and all things related with the protest like the recount. NOT THE COMELEC. It was the PET who junked the 25 percent threshold as petitioned by Leni. So HOW IDIOTIC for anyone to ask something from somebody whom everybody else knows is POWERLESS to grant the request.

And Rule 15, Section 6 of Comelec Resolution No. 8804 clearly states that   any shading less than 50 percent shall not be considered a valid vote.
