MGA ALAGAD NG KADILIMAN PARA KAY SERENO!

In http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/988008/bishops-call-on-people-to-stand-up-to-sc-justices-tinkering-with-the-law, Manila Auxilary Bishop Broderick Pabillo was reported as calling on the people to stand up to the Supreme Court  (SC) for abusing their power in handling the quo warranto petition against Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno. Pabillo was also quoted as saying: “Those we’re supposed to trust to enforce justice were the ones tinkering with the law and that’s not right.” Together with Pabillo were  activist priests Robert Reyes, Atilano “Nonong” Fajardo and Joselito “Bong” Sarabia.

My take: Mga ALAGAD NG KADILIMAN, hindi ng Simbahan, para kay Sereno. Even if I have been a Catholic since birth.

Una: Ang TUNGKULIN ng mga pari ay tumulong MAGPANATILI O MAGPAKALAT NG PAGMAMAHALAN at PAGKAKAISA! Pero itong grupo ni Pabillo, AWAY-AWAY ang gusto. Pangalawa: HINDI NAMAN INAPI ang ipinaglalaban nilang si Sereno. HUWAG NATING KALIMUTAN, mga kababayan, AMINADO SI SERENO NA HINDI KUMPLETO ang bilang ng mga  Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) na naifile niya, na naging batayan ng quo warranto petition laban sa kaniya. HINDI ISINAMPA ang quo warranto petition ng walang basehan. At dumaan sa oral arguments, sa proseso, ito.

Third: Pabillo said: “We have to express our sentiments [against it] because as a nation of God, when the interpreters of the laws abuse their positions, we should speak against it.” 

Every educated person like Pabillo’s group is aware that there is a separation of powers between the Church and the State. Pabillo’s group is also FULLY AWARE that under the Constitution, the SC is the FINAL INTERPRETER of the law.  Whatever is their decision or ruling, especially if it’s final and executory, is the one WHICH SHOULD BE IMPLEMENTED AND OBEYED by everyone. NO EXCEPTIONS. For the preservation of peace and order. But clearly, Pabillo’s group would rather have DISCORD OR CONFLICT INSTEAD just to push Sereno’s interests.

Pangapat: Itama ako ninuman kung mali ako pero HINDI ABOGADO si Pabillo at ang mga katropa niya.  Kaya WALA SILANG MORAL AT PROPESYONAL na karapatan para HUSGAHAN ang mga justice ng SC ng pagabuso ng kapangyarihan at paglalaro sa Batas. Kasalanan sa Diyos ang maging mapanghusga at manira sa kapuwa, lalo pa kung walang karapatan ang  gagawa noon. Pero BINALE-WALA ito ng gang ni Pabillo.

Lahat ng ito, para kay Sereno. Ano meron, Pabillo?30
