BALLOT BOXES FROM OTON TOWN |
The
expose by a Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) insider of poll
fraud for the vice presidential race in Iloilo could have been worse than in
the home province of Leni Robredo of Camarines Sur JUSTIFIES the inclusion of
Iloilo City in the recount of votes covered by Bongbong Marcos’ protest against
her.
The insider had revealed that while loading the
improvised ballot boxes in container vans, representatives from both the camps
of Robredo and Bongbong Marcos, Jr. recorded a number of observations like wet
ballot boxes, boxes with broken seals, plastic boxes with just packing tapes
around, boxes with damaged top cover, some metal boxes with no padlocks and
other infirmities of the ballot containers. Again, I browsed the news
websites before I posted this and still, there were NO DENIALS from either the
PET or the Bongbong and Robredo groups.
The ballot boxes were not from Iloilo City. But
if cheating was carried out in other parts of Iloilo, it wouldn’t be impossible
for it to happen in Iloilo City. Think about these, people:
The mayor of Iloilo City during the 2016 elections was Jed Mabilog, a known ally of Robredo who is allegedly involved in the illegal drug trade. Mabilog controlled the area and as I had pointed out in an earlier column, the approximately 137,000 votes supposedly garnered by Robredo there was MORE THAN HALF of its 261,000 plus registered voters then. It would be ridiculous, impossible and illogical more than 50 percent of Iloilo City residents to vote for Leni in the polls. And as I had pointed out in an earlier blog, NOBODY INFORMED Bongbong that Iloilo City was supposedly not part of the province when he paid for the whole of it in his protest fee.
Kung kalian nire-ready na for recount, saka biglang
hindi kasali Iloilo City. Kung WALANG DAPAT ITAGO, WALANG ITATAGO.
