Wow, it seems former Comelec Chairman Andres
Bautista is UNTOUCHABLE.
From the ill-gotten wealth revelations by his
former wife to ‘BLINDING’ signs of cheating during the 2016 elections (during
which he was Comelec chairman), NOBODY IS MOVING to force him to return from
the US and explain everything.
Anybody correct me if I’m wrong but NO ACTION
BY ANYONE WHATSOEVER from the Comelec,
Senate, House of Representatives and the Supreme Court acting as the
Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET).
No probe by either the Senate or the House on
the signs of cheating during the 2016 polls has been set. Not a word from the
Comelec on how they plan to compel Bautista to come back and talk, EVEN IF THEY
who were left behind are the ones who are now losing public trust.
Not a word either from the PET, on what do
they intend to do or could be done under the law to bring Andy back. Even if
Andy was the Comelec chairman during the 2016 polls and was AWARE of everything
that had happened.
Senate Committee on Banks chair Francis
Escudero had an arrest warrant issued for Andy for refusing to attend Senate
hearings on his allaged dirty monies. But the warrant is GOOD ONLY here in the
Philippines. There have been no reports either on what Escudero is doing, if
any, to get Andy back and have him testify in the Senate.
I wonder who is, or are, SCARED AS HELL of
Andy in case he’s brought back home and forced to talk. As a frined of mine often says, ‘ONLY IN THE
PHILIPPINES.’ 30
