SUMISIKIP NA ang mundo ni Chief
Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.
A story in inquirer.net (http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/972942/breaking-sc-to-take-up-solgens-sereno-ouster-plea-on-tuesday)
says the Supreme Court (SC) will tackle tomorrow, Tuesday the quo warranto
petition filed by the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) earlier today to oust
Sereno without having to go through an impeachment trial.
That means the SC justices will
act on the OSG petition in JUST A DAY after it was filed. They WOULD NOT WAIT
for anything else, like the results of the voting of the House Justice
Committee. One of my sources say the SC justices are inclined to schedule oral
arguments right after the initial deliberations tomorrow.
(Judicial and Bar Council), not me.’
I asked a personal friend
who holds a doctorate in law from a world-famous American university to comment
on Sereno’s dilemma. He simply said; “Isipin mo, SAAN PA SIYA TATAKBO (emphasis
mine) for support, or relief? ”30
