AGUIRRE |
In a story in //www.gmanetwork.com/news/news/nation/646409/aguirre-dismissal-of-raps-vs-peter-lim-kerwin-espinosa-not-yet-final/story/?just_in,
no less than Justice Sec. Vitaliano Aguirre II said: "Suffice it to say
that the current status of the case against the respondents Peter Lim et al.,
does not mean that it is a FINAL EXONERATION (emphasis mine) of their
respective criminal liabilities." Aguirre added that ,,,there
are possible avenues to review this case, either by a motion for
reconsideration or ultimately, by way of automatic review by my office."
MALINAW, mga kababayan. HINDI PA LIBRE sina
Kerwin, at iba pa. HINDI TULAD ng gusting palabasin ng mga kritiko ni Pangulong
Digong Duterte.
Now, here’s the black propaganda: Initial
mainstream and social media reports DID NOT MENTION Aguirre’s clarification,
which in effect was THE SIDE of the government. ONLY the dismissal. Being a former media man myself, I am aware
of the rule that BOTH OR ALL of the sides of the personalities in any story
MUST BE INCLUDED before it comes out. In the interest of FAIRNESS. If any of
the parties could not be reached for comment, the media firm MUST SAY SO in the
story and must SPECIFY THE EFFORTS made by the reporter to get the side.
Kaso, INILABAS MUNA yung istorya ng dismissal
at kabi-kabila nang batikos ang inaabot ng Duterte Government bago inilabas ang
statement ni Aguirre.
Secondly, the resolution dismissing the
charges was dated Dec. 20, 2017. But it was NEVER EXTENSIVELY REPORTED in
media. UNTIL NOW. A doctor and
professor of laws whom I consulted said the only possible reason is “Aguirre
HAS NOT APPROVED the dismissal. And considering the fact that Kerwin
is a SELF-CONFESSED drug peddler who never retracted, a background check of the
prosecutors who dismissed the charges is in order.”
HUWAG MAGPALOKO, mga kababayan. KUNIN MUNA
ANG LAHAT ng panig bago maniwala sa anumang banat laban kay Pangulong Duterte.
