KICK SERENO OUT, NOW!

With all due respect, the Supreme Court (SC) must KICK OUT Chief Justice (CJ) Maria Lourdes Sereno NOW, to PROTECT THEIR REPUTATIONS against her. For the second time in just more than a week, Sereno emerged as a VICIOUS LIAR

A story in http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/978202/jbc-has-more-than-10-salns-of-de-castro says Supreme Court (SC) Associate Justice Teresita Leonardo-De Castro has publicly come out with a certification from the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) saying that  she had submitted 15 out of the 10 required copies of her Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Networth (SALN) when she applied for the Chief Justice (CJ) post in 2012.

The certification, signed by Court Attorney IV Jenifer M. Cabrillo-Salvador and noted by JBC Executive Committee chairperson. Jose Catral Mendo, says in the office’s files are photocopies of De Castro’s SALN from 1997 to 2011. Sereno had claimed to the SC that De Castro and acting CJ Antonio Carpio were among the CJ aspirants “who had likewise failed to submit to the JBC one or some of their SALNs and have  also benefitted when the JBC relaxed the rules on SALN requirement.” Last week, Carpio presented a JBC certification, stating he had submitted a total of 14 SALNs. 

The SC is the final judge, the final arbiter for what’s the truth and what’s not in court cases. Therefore, the CJ must be of unquestionable and proven honesty. But with her LIES, Sereno has shown that she is the EXACT OPPOSITE. For the sake of their reputations, and that of the SC itself, I pray that the honorable justices will NOT TOLERATE her FALSEHOODS.  I sincerely hope they keep in mind that it’s the SC’s CREDIBILITY and INTEGRITY which will eventually be doubted if they let her get away with this.

And if Sereno cares for her family, and she still has ANY SHAME LEFT in her, she should realize that a GRACEFUL EXIT, NOW, is the only option left for her.30
