BETTER RECONSIDER MACALINTAL ENDORSEMENT, VILMA!

It would be wise for Congresswoman Vilma Santos to reconsider her endorsement of Leni Robredo’s lead lawyer Romulo Macalintal for senator in the 2019 elections. This is the link: https://newsinfo.inquirer.net/1040002/vilma-santos-endorses-romulo-macalintal-for-senator

I honestly hope that Vilma had just overlooked the fact that only recently, Macalintal and Leni LIED to the people when they said they had won in their petition to the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) for a 25 percent ballot shading threshold in the manual recount of votes covered by Bongbong Marcos’ protest.

Add to that the fact that Macalintal and Leni have yet to prove that she is not involved in any of the pieces of evidence and tell-tale signs of cheating uncovered so far in ballots and ballot boxes from Robredo’s territory of Camarines Sur.

Vilma’s reason for choosing Macalintal, his consistent support for senior citizens, is very valid. But somebody had better remind her that it’s INBORN IN US Filipinos to be supportive of our elders.

Considering the extent and intensity of the attacks Macalintal has been receiving in social media, Vilma should keep in mind that anyone who endorses him will be helplessly shattered in the eyes of the public. Immediately or in the long run.

With her exceptional track record as Batangas governor, Vilma DEFINITELY WIOULD NOT BE DESERVING of that predicament.
