A lawyer-political strategist whom I had just
consulted described as MALICIOUS the SNAIL-PACED manual recount of the votes
covered by the protest of Bongbong Marcos against Leni Robredo.
Here’s part of his observations:
“Bongbong Marcos has paid for the cost of the
recount IN FULL (emphasis mine). The votes to be recounted are all in, and had
been ready for transmittal to Manila weeks before the revision even started.
The same thing with the venue and the equipment or paraphernalia needed. Even
the revisors had been chosen months before the recount began.
“No less than a Supreme Court justice is
assigned to supervise or handle the protest, and the recount. But despite all
these, there is no VISIBLE EFFORT OR MOVE (emphasis mine) to fast-track the
process.
“So I really can’t see any justification for
the slower than the snail pace of the recount. I find it as malicious and
deliberate, all for vested interests.”
Wala na akong idadagdag. Dumepensa na ang
gustong dumepensa.
