There’s one possible reason behind the ouster
plot against President Digong Duterte: The possible LOSS of Leni Robredo in the protest by Bongbong Marcos
against her and her ouster as presumptive vice-president.
And before eyebrows are raised by anybody,
think about these:
The manual recount of Bongbong’s and Leni’s
votes is into the third and final pilot province, Negros Oriental. Despite the
CONTINUED AND BASELESS NEWS BLACKOUT on the process, word is spreading that
after Negros Oriental, there’s a chance that the final results can be a basis
to decide the protest already. Word has it that the Negros Oriental recount can
be finished by as early as November, if not late October.
News reports say according to the military,
the oust Digong plot had been scheduled for October.
If Leni loses in the protest and Digong is
still the President his detractors, especially the Yellows, will LOSE THEIR FINAL
HOPE to get back to power. She won’t be the automatic successor should the President
suddenly decide to cut his term short. And with the President’s PUBLIC
DECLARATION of his readiness to hand over the presidency to Bongbong if he wins
the protest, Digong’s attackers know they’ll be in for a whole damn lot of
trouble if that happens.
Even if Digong’s ratings dropped a little in
the latest surveys, the figures are still in the ‘Good to Very Good’ range.
That’s according to the survey firms themselves. But still, the ouster plot
against Digong remains. Despite the fact that NO SANE politician or group would
even dream of kicking out a very popular head of state, since they won’t have
the people’s support.
So WHY THE PERSISTENCE to oust Digong, even
if the greater majority of the people remain supportive of him? WHY IGNORE the
people’s choice and instead ensure Leni’s rise to the presidency AS SOON AS
POSSIBLE?
There’s only one LOGICAL ANSWER: There MAY NOT BE ANOTHER CHANCE if the
plotters wait any longer. Anybody’s
