I hope that nobody will be readily DECEIVED by
newly-appointed Comelec Comissioner Grace Padaca’s vows of remaining
independent and of inhibiting herself in case her brother gets into a case in
his bid to be Isabela governor.
Judge her only if she’ll be put to an actual
test.
If she’s as independent-minded as she
professes to be, Padaca SHOULD NOT HAVE ACCEPTED PNOY’S MONEY for the bail for
the graft charges he is facing.
I’m not saying that she should not accept
bail money from anyone.
My point is PNoy is responsible for her
temporary freedom, and PNoy has hundreds, if not thousands, of candidates
running under his Liberal Party (LP) in next year’s elections.
So let’s face it, boys and girls, it would be
VERY DIFFICULT for anyone NOT TO HELP the person who had kept him or her out of
jail, if necessary.
Believe me, people, I sincerely hope that
Padaca will live up to her word.
Just DON’T TAKE her word for it, hook, line
and sinker. Even if she has received numerous awards for good deeds, IT DOESN’T
FOLLOW that her words are Gospel truth.
Keep a close eye on her moves, her decisions and
everything she’ll do as Comelec commissioner.
Especially if the subject (s) of an electoral
dispute will be LP senatorial bets, known personal candidates of PNoy fore
whatever position or his brother.
Wait for what Padaca will do, DIRECTLY OR
INDIRECTLY, before you judge her integrity. Don’t make endorsements by PNoy or
other personalities of her character as your sole basis.
We have been deceived long enough. Further
deception will plunge us, and our country, deeper and faster into the quicksand (kumunoy) of hardships we’re now deeply into.
