PADACA ISSUES MALACANANG MUST EXPLAIN!

Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda has just put the Sandiganbayan’s integrity in serious doubt over the graft raps against former Isabela Gov. Grace Padaca.

And in so doing, exposing GROSS INCOMPETENCE on the part of Malacanang in handling the issue.

n a story in The Philippine Star, Lacierda said it’s the Sandiganbayan who must be asked on how Padaca managed to evade arrest after a warrant for her arrest was issued as early as May this year.

Lacierda said he, and for that matter Malacanang, has no idea why Padaca was never arrested.

First question: In effect, Lacierda admitted that Malacanang WAS AWARE of the warrant against Padaca.. Then, why does it seem that NO ONE EVEN ASKED about her non-arrest?

If Lacierda will suddenly say that Malacanang and PNoy did not know of  Padaca’s case until he announced his plan to appont him as Comelec commissioner, that would be INCOMPETENCE TO THE MAX.

Why? They will be putting somebody in a highly-sensitive position and they did not even conduct a background check.

Lacierda said the Sandiganbayan is a separate body. That’s correct.

But technically, Padaca was STILL A FUGITIVE when PNoy announced his plan to appoint her as a Comelec commissioner. They were taking in a suspected criminal, and they wouldn’t even bother to check if she’s been cleared of the charges against her.

Kahit nga para janitor o messenger lang hinahanapan ngayon ang mga aplikante ng police cat iba pang learance.

Pero si Padaca, WALANG KAILANGAN kahit na ano, kahit na BUHAY PA ANG KASO  niya.  Bukod doon, si PNoy  pa mismo ang nagpiyansa at nagdedeklara na ngayon pa lang na iwala sioyang kasalanan..

So, second question: What makes Padaca SO SPECIAL to Pnoy? So very special that HE DIDN’T MIND STOOPING DOWN to the level of a bondsman to bail her out.

And PREJUDGE her innocence himself, even REWARDING this with the very sensitive position of Comelec commissioner.

Anybody correct me if I’m wrong but PNoy and Padaca were NEVER KNOWN to be super close friends of long-standing.

Third: Why Comelec for Padaca, considering that her brother is running for Isabela governor? Immediately, there is CONFLICT OF INTEREST. Why not another position?

Meanwhile, I can hardly wait for what the Sandiganbayan has to say. 30
