Senate Majority Leader Vicente “Tito” Sotto III will draft a bill seeking to junk the libel law.

Sotto had proposed the libel provision in the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.

“Gusto nilang i-criticize ako, e di i-criticize nila. Basta huwag lang libelous. Huwag lang yung nambabastos , nambababoy kung tawagin (ako) below the belt. Kung gusto nila ng ganun, puwede din ako dun.” Sotto added. ###
