For once, I agree with PNoy.
In a story in journal.com.ph, PNoy called on the
people to choose wisely among the candidates in next year’s elections.
Choose wisely, indeed.
First and foremost, look for candidates for all
elective posts with VISIBLE, PHYSICAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS. Candidates who have had
infrastructure projects built, or have been maintaining or have launched pro-poor
programs, WITH TANGIBLE RESULTS.
And not candidates who HAD MADE ALL KINDS OF
PROMISES or had BOASTED OF ALL SORTS OF PLANS to improve the quality of your
lives, but HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING since the time they won.
For reelectionist senators and congressmen, find
out how many bills, if any, has the candidate PRINCIPALLY AUTHORED. It’s the
MAIN JOB of a senator congressman.
I repeat, principally authored, not just
co-authored. YUNG NAGTRABAHO, HINDI YUNG NAKIKISAKAY LANG sa trabaho ng iba.
For newcomers, as I had written in an earlier
blog, take a close look at the qualifications and credentials or track record
for the position aspired for.
pulitika o serbisyo publiko – gustong maging senador,, congressman/woman o
Second: Choose candidates with unquestionable
moral character and DELICADEZA.
Check out if the candidate has a PENDING CASE,
CRIMINAL OR ADMINISTRATIVE, before any government agency or prosecutor’s office
or court. If there’s any, find out the status.
Unless the candidate has been cleared or
acquitted, he or she has NO MORAL RIGHT to run for public office. If the
candidate insists, he or she has no delicadeza and does not deserve your vote.
And to top all these, remember:
pinupuna o tinitirang bagay o problema.
WALANG
TANDAAN
NINYO!

A CLOSE LOOK AT 2012
SONNY CABRALES of Los Angeles , California
Thanks for a very accurate assessment of what
2012 was all about.
GRAFT AND CORRUPTION THROUGH RH LAW
JERRY OCAMPO
My main objection to the RH bill is exactly
what you pointed out in your blog.
THERE WILL BE MORER GWEN GARCIAS
FIDEL CASTILLO of Riyadh , Saudi Arabia
Well said, bro!
BIG GARCIA HEADACHE COMING UP FOR PNOY!
JOSE LUIS LEGARDA
I really hope that support for Garcia be very
significant so as to put a stop to Abnoy’s abuse of power and politics of
harassment.
INDIRECT ADMISSION OF WEAK CASE VS GARCIA
NESTOR PATNUGOT of Davao City
There is a need for our Ombudsman to make a
schedule of corresponding suspensions/penalties for all government officials
and employees accused of alleged wrongdoing. It's hurting for those who are
just doing their job and are accused of something.
INNIE D’ ORO of San Juan , Batangas
Sabi nung isang nag-comment sa DZRH, bakit
daw na-charge ng usurpation of authority si Gov. Gwen eh mas mataas sya sa
Vice-Gov niya? She is actually enforcing her authority over the vice-governor
which, i think, is legal and within her jurisdiction and responsibility.
Garcia?
FRANCISCO CASTRO
“LEGALITY AND TRUTH are the real issues in
the Garcia case. And not who talks more in media.” Tama yan.
ED DAN VERZOLA
Malacanang people know they are wrong but
being in power, they always think they are right. !
