NO JUSTICE IN SIGHT FOR 'PABLO' VICTIMS!

After at least 740 deaths, close to a thousand missing and approximately 115,000 homes and buildings destroyed, there’s still NO JUSICE IN SIGHT for the families and surviving victims of Typhoon Pablo’s wrath.

As early as two or three days ago, illegal logging and mining had been categorically identified as the causes of the log and landslides that killed or wounded ‘Pablo’s’  victims and washed away or buried their homes.

But up to now, ONE WEEK after the tragedy, NOT A SINGLE ILLEGAL LOGGER OR MINER has been identified by authorities.

Not by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) or by the PNP, or any other government agency. And nobody from the government had better have the stomach of trying to make idiots out of us by saying they have no idea who the environment criminals are.

Remember, boys and girls, illegal logging and mining have been environmental problems since time immemorial.

Kaya’t IMPOSIBLE NA WALA MAN LANG KAHIT ISANG SUSPECT ang mga taga DENR o PNP.  Kung meron mang maglalakas-loob na magsabi nito, alin lamang siya sa dalawa – SINUNGALING O INUTIL na WALA nang karapatan pang magtrabaho.

PNoy has already ordered an investigation into the extremely high number of fatalities and the injured.

Pero wala pa akong nababalitaan na nagsimula nang magtanong-tanong man lang ang DENR o ang PNP sa mga residente. Wala pa akong nababasa sa mga dyaryo o naririning sa balita sa radio o TV na ininspeksiyon na ng mga imbestigador ang mga pinanggalingan ng mga illegal na pinutol na troso o putik mula sa mga minahan.

BALE-WALA ang utos ni PNoy, ganun ba? Anybody correct me if I’m wrong.

HOW MANY MORE CORPSES must be recovered first? How many more wounded or injured victims must be found before an honest-to-goodness investigation is conducted?

Patuloy na nagugutom ang mga nawalan ng bahay. Patuloy na naghihirap ang mga sugatan. At HIGIT NA TULUY-TULOY ang pagdiriwang nga mga alagad ng Impiyerno na kilala natin bilang mga illegal loggers at miners.
