After two days of 477
confirmed deaths and at least 250,000 rendered homeless, PNoy has finally
spoken about what Typhoon Pablo had left behind.
In the interest of fair
play, since I attacked him two blogs earlier, here’s a direct quote by PNoy
from a story in gmanews.tv:
“Noong nag-umpisa pa
lang ‘yung bilang [the death toll], napapag-isip na tayo: may nagawa pa ba tayo
or may magagawa pa ba tayo para pati ‘yung 30 o 60 na ‘yon ay naisalba natin?”
In another story in
philstar.com, PNoy was quoted as saying: "We won't cease to come up with (a)
new system and mechanism so that as soon as possible, we can reduce the number
of victims of tragedy.”
Now, think about these,
boys and girls:
First: Pnoy DID NOT CITE
ANY SPECIFIC action that he had made when ‘Pablo’ began killing people in its
path. He, or anybody else among his spokespersons, COULD NOT EVEN SAY where he
was at the height of ‘Pablo.’
Second: PNoy made the
claim when he attended the awarding ceremonies of the Ten Accomplished Youth
Organizations in Malacanang.
NOT TO THE FAMILIES OF
THE DEAD, or the injured, or to the 250,000 people who lost their homes in
various areas and are now crammed like sardines in various evacuation centers.
INUNA NIYA PANG HARAPIN
Third: With 477
confirmed killed and AT LEAST 400 more missing, what mechanism or system is he
talking about? MAYROON BA in the first
place?
Fourth: News reports say
PNoy will only visit areas devastated by ‘Pablo’ today, THREE DAYS after people
started dying and hundreds disappeared in floods and destroyed towns and
barangays.
Pero nung mamatay si
dating DILG Sec. Jesse Robredo matapos bumagsak ang eroplanong sinakyan nito, 24
ORAS pa lamang ang nakakalipas o wala pa ay NANDOON AGAD sa pinangyarihan si
PNoy.
Iyan ang pagiging makatao, pagiging maka-mahirap, PNoy
style.
Fifth: DILG Sec. Mar
Roxas claimed to media that PNoy
has sent food and other supplies by ship to 150,000 people on Mindanao 's
east coast.
But Roxas DID NOT SPECIFY WHAT EXACTLY
were the items sent, WHERE EXACTLY is it
headed for and for whom, WHEN is it expected to arrive, WHO will be in charge
of distribution and where should ‘Pablo’s’ victims go for details or for their
share.
Basta para kay Roxas, meron nang
pinadala si PNoy, tapos.
Kayo na ang magsabi, mga kababayan:
KAPANI-PANIWALA BA? 30
