STILL NO ASSURANCE 'PABLO' AIID NOT BEING STOLEN!

Here’s something very, very alarming that we all should not overlook:

Millions and millions of aid, both in cash and in kind, continue to pour in for victims of typhoon ‘Pablo.’

But up to now, NOBODY in government has bared a PUBLIC ACCOUNTING to assure both the victims and we, the general public, that the money IS NOT BEING STOLEN by anyone who has access to it.

Nobody knows HOW MUCH MONEY has been donated to date, WHO’S IN CHARGE of disbursing it, HOW MUCH HAS BEEN SPENT AND ON WHAT, HOW MUCH IS LEFT and where is it.

Not even a partial breakdown has been publicly released by the government so far on where the monetary donations have gone to. No documentary proof whatsoever for possible verification by interested parties.

Nobody knows exactly how many victims have received aid -- from where are they, what did they receive, when and from whom.

THE ONLY BASIS we hear or get from the government is whatever they say.

No names of beneficiaries, no amounts or kinds of aid, no SPECIFIC dates and places, no receipts or DOCUMENTARY PROOF of expenditures or disbursements, NO NOTHING As  in NONE.

Kung ano ang sabihin nila, iyun na iyun. Iyun ang dapat nating paniwalaan.

In case you missed it in the news several days ago, China has donated an additional P8 million for “Pablo’ victims. The Armed Forces of the Philippines turned over a additional P19 million plus from their own donations and savings, as well as  aid donated through their efforts.

Those two amounts ALONE TOTAL P27 MILLION, more than enough to build and furnish a 4-bedroom house in a Class-B village and buy two brand new cars worth more than P1 million each.

But ONLY A SELECT FEW knows the REAL SCORE about these monies.

And there’s no indication they’d share the information  soon, not even to ‘Pablo’ victims. 30
