Here
are some personal safety reminders against Typhoon ‘Pablo’: And this is for
everyone, whether you’re being affected already by ‘Pablo’ or not yet.
STAY
HOME! IF YOJ’RE STRANDED, STAY INSIDE wherever you are. Be sure to charge your
mobile phones and other battery-operated gadgets which can serve as radios.
Unless
you, your spouse, kid, parent (s) or sibling is in danger of getting hurt or
killed, DON’T TAKE ANY UNNECESSARY RISK of going out into the rain or floods to
go somewhere else.
If
you’re at home and flood waters start flowing in or coming out from the floor,
UNPLUG ALL APPLIANCES IMMEDIATELY and TURN OFF THE POWER. Get the kids out of
the water at once and order them not to go down to it for any reason
whatsoever.
Unless
you’re a licensed electrician or are 1001 percent sure of what to do DON’T EVEN
ATTEMPT to fix any electrical malfunction. Call Meralco or find a qualified
person instead.
If
you’re under floodwaters, whether at home or on the road, be on the lookout for
snakes, rats and other dangerous animals. Avoid passing through grassy or known
garbage dumps.
Stay
away from electric posts and watch out for flying debris and dangling power
lines. Stuff your wallets, jewelry and other valuables into your pockets as
much as possible.
HUWAG
BASTA-BASTA MAGTIWALA sa mga magmamagandang-loob na itawid kayo sa baha o
samahan kayo sa inyong pupuntahan, lalo pat nagiisa lang kayo sa paligid..
WALANG
PINIPILING ORAS O PANAHON ANG MGA SNATCHER AT HOLDAPER.
Most
of all, KEEP ON PRAYING until you arrive home or at your destination SAFELY.
You don’t need to recite long prayers if you’re too tense or tired or whatever
to remember it in full.
Just
ask Mama Mary or Our Lord Jesus Christ, our very own Saints Lorenzo Ruiz and
Pedro Calungsod, or anyone in Heaven to stay with you.
They
will be more than happy to do so. They're just waiting for us to talk to them 30
