This is bullying PNoy style.
A story in
manliastandardtoday.com said PNoy has warned suspended Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn
Garcia against forcing him to bodily take her out of the provincial capitol, where
she has been staying for 28 days.
This despite PNoy’s admission that acting Gov.
Agnes Magpale has been able to exercise
her functions and the provincial government has been able to deliver basic services
to Cebuanos.
First: The Court of Appeals (CA) has not yet
decided on Gwen’s petition for a temporary restraining order (TRO) to stop her suspension.
Second:
THERE’S NO REASON for Gwen to create trouble that would warrant her
bodily eviction, and justify the CA’s
rejection of her TRO petition She’s not insane
to give ammunition to her enemies,
So WHY THE NEED for the warning?
The CA decision is, and should be, the FINAL
basis for PNoy on what should Gwen do, or should be done to her. NOT WHAT HE
WANTS.
TAKUTAN
NA LANG BA ANG LABANAN NGAYON?
His warning, tends to indicate that PNoy has LITTLE
REGARD for the CA and its authority over Gwen’s petition.
The warning also indicates SERIOUS DOUBT on
the part of PNoy on the legality of Gwen’s
suspension. For the simple reason that
he would not say anything anymore and
just wait for the CA decision if he were 100 percent confident of her defeat.
Bottom line: If PNoy can be this INTIMIDATING with little
regard on pending legal processes, no one can ever imagine what he’ll do next and how he’ll react next time on an opponent tougher than Garcia.
Consider that, boys and girls. 30
My concern is the kind of upbringing that he had. To think, the father, the late Ninoy was looked up to by millions...
