The
foiled repatriation of suspected P12-B swindler Manuel Amalilio from Kota
Kinabalu in Sabah , Malaysia showed THREE UGLY TRUTHS
about PNoy’s government.
.
First,
PNoy enjoys VERY, VERY LITTLE RESPECT, if any, from the Malaysian Government.
Amalilio
is the alleged brains behind one of the biggest scams in the history of the Philippines .
PNoy himself vowed to the victims of the scam that they will get justice. But Malaysian
authorities DID NOT GIVE A DAMN and kept Amalilio.
As
if telling PNoy, and the rest of us Filipinos, ‘so what if you want him?”
Even
if PNoy practically moved Heaven and Earth in announcing to the whole world the
signing of a framework agreement on peace talks between his government and the
Moro Islamic Liberation Front, which was FULLY BEING SUPPORTED by Malaysia.
Even
though the agreement was NOTHING MORE than just a pact on how the peace talks
would be conducted.
Pangalawa:
Amalilio.
National
Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents who had fetched Amalilio had all the
required documents to bring him home. I’m sure the sympathies of all of us are
with the scam victims.
But
Malaysia
IGNORED our boys from the NBI, the travel documents they had and in effect
those who lost their fortune to the scam.
Third
-- Look at the INCOMPETNCE of PNoy’s boys:
The
Department of Foreign affairs, the Department of Justice, the NBI and
most of all Malacanang were still CLUELESS as I was writing this blog on why
Malaysian authorities refused to yield Amalilio.
This
can only mean one thing:
Officials
concerned DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH FORESIGHT, if there’s any at all, to have
considered this possibility after Amalilio was reported arrested.
Or
they were simply NOT SMART ENOUGH.
Common
sense dictates that when the issue is as big as Amalilio, one must consider ANY
AND ALL POSSIBILITIES in handling and execution of the task required.
Otherwise, he or she IS NOT
COMPETENT for the job.
HINIYA

I wonder what Malaysia's motives are for holding Amalilio? He is a Filipino citizen who committed a crime against his countrymen and he deserves to face justice in our country. If we have an extradition treaty with Malaysia, why can't we enforce it?
