SENATE BETS SHOULD ANSWER THIS, NOW!

There’s something VERY IMPORTANT we have to ask this early from senatorial candidates in the May elections.

WHO’S PAYING for their commercials, especially in television, and their sorties and WHO OWNS THE MONEY? Do they have PROOF that the money is CLEAN, and not public funds DIVERTED to their ads?

Keep in mind, people, that public funds are OUR FUNDS.  These are our HARD-EARNED MONIES which we used to pay for, among others:

The NUMEROUS TAXES charged from us, mandatory contributions to the SSS, GSIS and Pag-IBIG Fund,  and fees for certifications and other services when we transact with various government offices.

These monies are supposed to be for OUR WELFARE ALONE, for our needs as a people, and not for the PERSONAL AGENDA OR BENEFIT of any candidate, even if he or she is a bet of PNoy and his Liberal Party (LP).

So ask the candidates, personally if possible or through his or her various contact points like websites and e-mails. Ask for SPECIFIC DETAILS  and PROOF of whatever his or her claims may be.

If there’s NOTHING TO HIDE, then there should be NO PROBLEM for the candidate to be TRANSPARENT in responding to your queries.

Pero Kung sasabihin ng kandidato na CONFIDENTIAL ang mga sagot sa mga tanong ninyo, KABAHAN NA KAYO.  A thousand and one percent,  something IMMORAL or ILLEGAL, or both, is going on.

From the candidate, ask the TV stations.

Who paid for the TV commercials of the candidates and how much did it cost?  Request for SPECIFIC DETAILS and documentary proof.  I don’t know the prevailing rates, guys, but I am a million percent sure that TV ads remain the MOST EXPENSIVE in the media industry.

Three examples:

PNoy’s nephew and LP senatorial bet Bam Aquino has been having a lot of TV commercials about a movement which has his name for the acronym.

Question: Is he that rich that he can afford TV ads?

If he will say it’s from contributions, who’s the source and why would anybody pour huge amounts for him, considering that his only claim to fame is being PNoy’s relative?

A personal friend of mine informed me that she has come across a TV ad by the DSWD on the conditional cash Transfer (CCT) program which had Sen. Loren Legarda in the end.

What has Legarda got to do with the CCT? It’s NOT HER PROGRAM.

The CCT is a program of the national government with the DSWD as lead implementing agency.

PNoy brought along LP senatorial bets with him when he went to Cebu days ago for the Sinulog.  Who paid for their plane fare and other expenses they incurred? Is the disbursement legitimate?

It’s OUR MONEY which is at stake, people. For our sake, don’t forget this. 30
