it or not, we can derive something good out of the controversial P30 million
Christmas bonus released by Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile to 22 senators.
We
can use it as a gauge to determine who is really PRO-PEOPLE and PRO-POOR among
the senators.
How?
Let’s find out who among them, if any, SHARED some of his or her bonus to the
less fortunate, in whatever way they could – to whom, when how and what for.

Keep
in mind, people, among others, that: close to a million of Typhoon ‘Pablo’s’ victims
still need help, and charity houses like orphanages are constantly in need of
financial support.

Whoever
ignored the poor, the sick and the needy no longer deserve our vote. And before

Senators
are supposed to be our representatives in the Senate.
We
voted for them to protect and pursue our welfare and major concerns, for a
better life. Like any other public servant, we should be their priority, not
themselves.
But
if a senator can ignore the needy with something extra and unexpected like what
Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile gave them, we can never be sure he or she
won’t do it again when bigger interests are involved.
Tayo
lugi, hindi iyung senador. Bakit natin
kailangang irisko pa yun?
