If Grace Poe knows how to be truly fair and
impartial, she had better SHUT UP, FAST, about the issues hounding the TV
program “Ang Probinsiyano.”
First: Her mother Susan Roces is part of the show’s
cast. Therefore, it would be natural for her to DEFEND THE SHOW all the way to
wherever. With or without any dialogue between the show’s producers and the
PNP, or any other clarificatory moves by both sides.
Second: While it’s perfectly alright for any
child to help/defend her mother, there’s a dividing line that Poe should
observe. She’s a senator, a public servant. And public servants should be
ALWAYS AND UNCONDITIONALLY IMPARTIAL in anything involving his/her family and
loved ones.
And let’s not forget: Poe is neither a BROADCAST
MEDIA nor propaganda expert. So strictly speaking, she is NOT QUALIFIED to
render a professional opinion or verdict on what must be done to ‘Ang
Probinsiyano.’
If Poe’s image handlers really know their
job, they had better do it fast. Before the people start comparing her to Leni Robredo
