Here’s solid proof that the Comelec is
FOOLING PEOPLE in claiming that there are many overseas Filipino workers (OFW)
who are not being allowed by their employers to vote:
Reacting to my earlier blog “COMELEC GINAGAGO
NA TAYO SA ABSENTEE VOTING,” a long-time reader and Facebook friend based in
Israel pointed out that “Day-off ang maraming OFWs pag weekend. Walang pakialam
ang mga employer saan man kami magpunta.”
Another reader based in Hong Kong added: “Pag
weekend nga, halos mapuno naming mga OFW ang Central District. Huwag naman
kaming gamitin para lokohin ang mga tao sa atin. At lalong huwag nilang idamay
ang mga employer namin.”
In my earlier blog “COMELEC GINAGAGO NA TAYO
SA ABSENTEE VOTING,” an official only cited a few places wherein OFWs are
supposedly being barred by their employers from absentee voting. The official
DID NOT CITE DETAILS, like the number of OFWs supposedly affected and alleged reasons
of the employers.
The straight-to-the-point reaction of my two
readers says it all. I don’t see any need for further explanations.
Kung may hihirit pa rin, siguruhin lang namay
detalye.
