The Supreme Court, sitting as the Presidential
Electoral Tribunal (PET), must clarify something to the people regarding the
ongoing revision/recount of votes covered by the protest of Bongbong Marcos
against Leni Robredo.
WHERE OR FROM WHOM will the people get REGULAR UPDATES on the proceedings? Especially now that tell-tale signs of cheating are being uncovered almost daily.
A story in gmanews.tv said the PET has
directed the camps of both Leni and Bongbong to explain within 10 days upon
receipt of notice why they should not be cited in contempt for disclosing ‘sensitive’
information on the recount in violation of resolutions dated February 13, 2018,
and March 20, 2018 (http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/news/nation/649829/pet-orders-leni-bongbong-camps-to-explain-disclosure-of-info-on-vp-vote-recount/story/?just_in).
For those who do not know, media people are
barred from the revision area. And NO DAILY UPDATES ARE RELEASED either by the
PET or revision officials So the BEST AND MOST ACCURATE SOURCE of information
on what’s happening are the camps of both Bongbong and Leni. If they will be
barred from updating the public, who will update us?
HINDI NAMAN PUWEDENG WALA TAYONG MALAMAN sa mga
nangyayari sa recount.
We have ALL THE RIGH TO KNOW THE TRUTH from
the recount. It’s our votes. The monies that Leni have been spending in the
Office of the Vice-President are FROM OUR TAXES and other payables to the
government. We need to find out as soon as possible, in every possible way, if
we are getting our money’s worth or if it’s just being WASTED for almost two
years now.
And I’m sure the PET would not want a
CONFUSED PUBLIC either. 30
Every election people get updated on the counting of ballots every minute, every day. This Recount is the thing part of election. WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE INFORMED, AND UPDATE EVERY MINUTE. WE WANT TO KNOW WHERE OUR MISSING VOTES WENT.
