POLL IRREGULARITIES IN LENI TURF INCREASING!

The revision/recount for the votes covered by Bongbong Marcos’ protest against Leni Robredo is only on its third day but IRREGULARITIES being uncovered in her bailiwick Camarines Sur ARE INCREASING!

Here are excerpts from a story in journal.com.ph, quoting sources in the recount, on what transpired today (journal.http://www.journal.com.ph/news/top-stories/pre-shaded-ballots-for-robredo):

“Right before the eyes of the PET revisors and the representatives from both camps of Robredo and former Sen. Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. were the unused or excess ballots found intact in folders inside the ballot boxes coming from clustered precincts in Camarines Sur. Upon thorough examination of the excess ballots, the PET revisors and the revision witnesses from the contesting camps found out that the oval enclosures beside Robredo’s name have been pre-shaded.” Sources added that inside ballot boxes from the town of Bato, Camarines Sur were hundreds of ballots scissored in half, indicating these were excesses but found in the valid ballots folder and counted for Robredo.

(Keep in mind, people: So far, WET ballots from four precincts in Bato town and others from Baao town have been uncovered. were found to be in similar wet condition. Audit logs of the voting in 39 out of 40 precincts in Bato are missing)

In the interest of fairness, here’s the reaction of Leni’s lawyer, Maria Bernadette Sardillo: "These could be rejected ballots that were mistakenly placed inside the envelope for unused ballots. Based on experience, due to the conditions inside the precincts where our BEIs (Board of Election Inspectors) are awake as early as 4AM, mistakes happen."

My take: If these were rejected ballots, then WHY THE HELL WERE THESE COUNTED FOR LENI in Bato town and NOT NULLIFIED OUTRIGHT?  Mistakenly placed in the envelope for unused ballots?  If the ballots were only a handful, it would be easy to accept that it was an honest mistake. But HUNDREDS were found in Bato. The mistake was committed hundreds of times? Not even a Grade 1 kid will be deceived.  

If the other ballots, which were intact, were also supposedly unused /excess, or rejected as claimed by Sadillo, these should NOT HAVE BEEN-PRESHADED for Leni. The ballots should have been BLANK. So how will Leni’s camp explain this? Lastly, all BEI personnel are teachers. They’re professionals who are SMART AND RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH not to commit the very basic error that Sadillo has theorized.  For sure, they were oriented on EVERY PRECAUTION they had to take in the conduct of the voting.
