JAMES TAYLOR CANCELLATION MEANS NOTHING! 

Some quarters are desperately trying to portray the cancellation by singer James Taylor of his Manila concert as a critical proof of discontent on the anti-drug war of the Duterte Government. So let’s be VERY, VERY CLEAR

James DOES NOT REPRESENT, OFFICIALLY OR UNOFFICIALLY, any country(ies) or hundreds of thousands or millions of people in prejudging any government. He is NOT POPULAR ENOUGH to the point that whatever he says or thinks, it’s the mindset as well of other countries or governments or millions of other people.  He only spoke for himself, and not for anybody else.

More importantly, James should be ashamed of himself for prejudging what’s happening here based PURELY ON ONE-SIDED media attacks by opponents of the Duterte Government. James is not here. He has not been living here since the President Digong assumed office. He HAS NOT BEEN SEEING WHAT’S ACTUALLY HAPPENING. He has no FIRST-HAND KNOWLEDGE of events.

In short, James decided PURELY ON HEARSAY.  Only the NARROWEST OF MINDS prejudge others or decide on issues solely on hearsay. I was in my early teens at the height of James’ popularity in the ‘70s. There was widespread talk then that he was a drug addict.

PISO MANALO ISANG LIBIO, James would run wild if somebody says now he’s still a drug addict who should be avoided like a plague anytime, anywhere. 30
