SAFETY REMINDERS FOR TERROR ALERT 3!
Terror Alert Level 3 is now in effect nationwide! That means terrorists can strike anytime, anywhere. So here are some safety reminders:
Look for or ask where the nearest exit is when you enter a mall or any other establishment. Stay near the exit as much as possible. And if you have your kid or kids with you, DO NOT LEAVE HIM/HER OR THEM ALONE.
Be on the lookout for ABANDONED BAGS OR PACKAGES and report it to the first security guard or policeman that you’ll see. DO NOT GO NEAR IT for whatever reason. Do the same thing for people who are acting suspiciously –guys or girls who can’t stay put in one place, perspiring even if it’s not hot, always looking around for no clear reason, with shaky knees or fingers and turns pale when a policeman or security guard passes.
If a STRANGER asks you to look after his or her package for a while for whatever reason, REFUSE. If the person insists, shout for help.
In the event of an explosion, GET DOWN ON THE FLOOR Cover your child or your children with your body. DO NOT BOTHER trying to find out where did the blast come rom. And if pandemonium follows, DO NOT RUN ALONG WITH THE CROWD, especially if you have your kids or child with you. Run only if you’re near the exit.
