DOUBLE STANDARD, DE LIMA STYLE
These are excerpts from a reaction

Arroyo on the trip of Leila de Lima to the US and Germany. The story is in
tribune.net.ph. Since Atty. Arroyo said it all in very clear but very simple terms,
I won’t be adding my own thoughts. Read carefully, guys, then judge for yourselves
if you should still trust De Lima.
“Sen de Lima, when you were
Secretary of Injustice, you had a hold departure order (HDO) against PGMA (then
President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo) even though no case was filed against her. So PGMA went to the SC (Supreme Court), which
granted her a TRO (temporary restraining order) against your capricious and
unlawful order.
“Now you want to leave for
the US and Germany amid a lookout bulletin and your statement that there is no
need for a lookout bulletin against you since you do not intend to leave. Are
you planning to escape??
Mr. Arroyo added De Lima
cannot simply ignore the lookout order as cases have been filed against her, unlike
in the situation the former president went through.
