GIMMICK PA MORE, DE LIMA!
A story in inquirer.net quoted Leila de Lima
as saying she has been facing “heightened security
threats” through intensified monitoring by her enemies. She did not identify the ‘enemies’ but added threats
to her life started when she spearheaded the Senate inquiry into allegations of
extrajudicial killings in the ongoing anti-illegal drugs war. So obviously, she’s alluding to the Duterte
Government. My tale: GIMMICK PA MORE, De
Lima.
It would be IDIOTIC for anyone in
the Duterte Government to EVEN CONSIDER killing you as this point in time. There are already complaints filed against you.
COMMON SENSE will say that the government wants you to face these raps, and be
penalized in case you will be found guilty. If the Duterte Government wants you
dead, there would have been no need to file cases against you, or conduct a
months-long probe of your alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade.
Besides, beyond the raps you’re
facing, you’re still a possible witness or source of information for the
anti-drug war in case you decide to cooperate with the government in the future.
Another possibility is investigators might uncover something in the probes
against you which will only be useful with your help. So even if I don’t work
in Malacanang, I’m 100 percent sure President Digong is not STUPID to let
anyone in government harm you.
GIVE THE PEOPLE A BREAK, Ms. De
Lima. We’re not as stupid as you think.
If ever anyone really wants you dead, that person would have to be a drug lord
or his or her protector who’s scared you might eventually reveal something
damaging one of these days.
BATANG MUSMOS na lamang ang puwede mong mabola, madam. 30
