BIG, BIG TROUBLE FOR LENI!

Leni Robredo is in BIG, BIG TROUBLE!

Instead of defending the Comelec in support of Robredo’s motion for reconsideration (MR) for a 25 percent ballot shading threshold, Solicitor General Jose Calida has asked the Supreme Court (SC), acting as the Presidential Electoral Tribunal, to uphold its rejection of her MR (http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/news/nation/659462/osg-to-pet-uphold-rejection-of-robredo-rsquo-s-bid-for-25-percent-threshold/story/?just_in).I In fact,  Calida even asked the PET for 10 days for his office "to submit its own comment" on the issue, even though the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) represents the Comelec in Robredo’s MR.

Even though a Comelec letter on the 25 percent is one of Robredo’s major arguments, the poll body will have to FOLLOW THE OSG, being their lawyer. When that happens, Robredo LOSES THE BIGGEST POSSIBLE SUPPORT FOR HER MR. And if the MR gets DENIED, God knows how many 25 percent shaded votes which Robredo says would be nullified will fly out into the air with it.

Among others, Calida argued that the Comelec has no jurisdiction over vice-presidential election contests. Only the PE can prescribe the rules in the ongoing manual vote recount between Robredo and Bongbong Marcos Jr. While the Comelec can make the rules on the procedure of election contests, this is limited to Batasang Pambansa and regional, provincial and city officials under the Omnibus Election Code. The 50-percent threshold currently applied by the PET in its supervision of the Robredo-Marcos vote recount is "reasonable," based on the "inability of the human eye to distinguish the 25-percent threshold. The Comelec letter presented by Robredo in support of the 25-percent threshold pertained to an optical scan count and not a manual recount.

I can’t help but wonder HOW ROBREDO FEELS OR WHAT SHE’S NOW THINKING OF.  30

  1. Hopefully this is not a fake news. OSG stand is magnanimous, truthful and just. Let reform the COMELEC begins to rid out their syndicated scheme to defraud the electorate through the use of the SMARTMATIC. SMARTMATIC was designed by the YELLOW-LP to perpetuate their hold of power in government through electronic cheating. Mabuhay ka PET..MABUHAY KA OSG. God Bless the filipino electorate...

  2. Why argue to a very simple problem of 25% shading? Let it be nullified and let it be applied to anybody including Bong Bong Marcos. That way, it is fair and could easily detect who really did the cheating manipulation.

    3. If members of the Comelec from the lowest post come clean, then they should be forgiven for we all know that if the higher ups gave them orders to manipulate the election they have no choice but to follow for fear of losing their job. Let those who have knowledge come out in the open to clear their names and spill the beans to those who blatantly disregarded the sanctity of ballots. Get Bautista first.
