Since Supreme Court Associate Justice and
Marcos protest lead justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa continues to IGNORE THE
DETAILED accusation of bias against him by Bongbong, Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno
should INHIBIT IMMEDIATELY from the case.
KINUKUNSINTI NIYA ang bias ni Caguioa.
Sereno has NOT BEEN REPORTED as having directed
Caguioa to answer Bongbong’s bias allegations. Neither has she directed him to
issue a public explanation and prove his fairness. Nor has Sereno been reported
as having taken any other action on Bongbong’s claims, like REPLACING CAGUIOA
as lead justice for the protest.
Whatever decision will be rendered on Bongbong’s
protest will be collegial. But for as long as Sereno is Chief Justice, and
automatically chair of the Presidential
Electoral Tribunal (PET), she will
always in a position to influence
the progress of Bongbong’s protest.
Kung may DELICADEZA si Sereno, mag-iinhibt na
agad siya. Kung mayroon. 30
