RAPPLER CEO MARIA RESSA |
18 January 201`7
The bandwagon of LIES and DECEPTION to defend
Rappler in the guise of press freedom is on the roll. So for the CONFUSED and
the MISNFORMED, here’s the TRUTH:
Rappler IS NOT PHILIPPINE MEDIA as a whole.
There is NO LAW, DECREE, RULING, AGREEMENT or any other OFFICIAL AND LEGAL
BASIS saying that Rappler represents or is the symbol of Philippine media. That
anything one does to Rappler is done to the ENTIRE media industry. Anybody correct
me if I’m wrong. Anyone who insists on describing Rappler’s precicament now as
a threat to silence media is either a fucking LIAR, TOTALLY IGNORANT of the
law, PAID ATTACK DOG by Rappler or its bosses out to FOOL/MISLEAD THE PUBLIC or
a descendant of Hitler or Stalin who DOES NOT BELIEVE IN THE LAW and has joined the CARAVAN OF LIARS
AND DECEIVERS for self-interests.
Despite Rappler’s problems, CRITICS of
President Digong Duterte are still all round us, ESPECIALLY INQUIRER AND ABS-CBN.
They come out almost DAILY with attacks against Digong and his administration.
But they’re still OPEN. They have NEVER COMPLAINED of being HARASSED OR
PRESSURED into silence. They have NOT BEEN SUED by Digong or any of his people
for their attacks, BASELESS OR NOT. So what threat or attempt to silence media
are you IDIOTS TALKING ABOUT?
And LET’S NOT FORGET, guys, and to the
DISGUSTINGLY MISINFORMED AND ONE-SIDED INTERNATIONAL MEDIA, Rappler’s problems
are about its violation of the law on business, and NOT ABOUT ITS STORIES. Only
the STUPID or the ILLITERATE, and the KING AND QUEEN of LIARS, will say that
business law is the same as press freedom.
Lastly Rappler, and for that matter ALL media
firms and journalists, are NOT EXEMPTED from the law. I’m a former media man
but one of the veryfirst things my editors then taught me was PRESS FREEDOM IS
NOT ABSOLUTE.
Kumontra na ang kokontra. 30
