Reacting to Malacanang’s claim that the
government had nothing to do with the revocation of its corporate license, by
the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Rappler Chief Executive Officer Maria
Ressa said in a television interview (http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/960679/news-rappler-maria-ressa-malacanang-sec-media-ownership-omidyar-network-fund-llc):
“That’s not true, that’s
not what we have heard. What is publicly stated is not what is privately going
on behind the scenes.”
But Ressa DID NOT GIVE DETAILS to prove her claim. TSISMOSA TO THE MAX
KA, Ms. Ressa!
Ressa alleged that someone was “running after the SEC on a daily
basis for a decision that is adverse to Rappler.” When asked by the host to
name the person, she replied: “That’s off the record.”
KAPAL NG MUKHA mong sabihing may tumutok, may nangulit sa SEC,
WALA ka namang maibigay na pangalan.
Ressa pointed out that it was the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG)
who had questioned Rappler’s ownership before the SEC.
So, NOT THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT. Even Rappler QUESTIONS a lot of things in government. Secondly, do you
have physical proof (and NOT JUST YOUR WORDS ALONE) that President Digong
Duterte had ordered the OSG to question the ownership of your company? If you
have, SHOW IT! If you don’t, WHERE THE HELL is the government that you’re insisting
on?
Do you even UNDERSTAND what you’re saying, Ms. Ressa? Iyun ay kung
sasabihin mong hindi ka TSISMOSA TO THE MAX!30
