Whether or not anyone admits it, there is NO
BASIS WHATSOEVER to condemn Mocha Uson’s alumni award from the University of
Sto. Tomas and helplessly tear her reputation to pieces.
And before I start, for the record, I AM NOT
a fan of Mocha. I’m even BLOCKED FROM POSTING in her blog. Neither am I an
employee of Malacanang or any government agency. But in the interest of fair
play:
The UST Alumni Association is INDEPENDENT of
all of you! Anybody correct me if I’m wrong but NO ONE among you is a boss of
the group. Unless you critics can show any documentary proof or basis that the
Association needs the approval of anyone of you for any action it will take, WALA
KAYONG PAKIALAM sa kanila. You can criticize, of course.
Pero para kondenahin ninyo si Mocha na parang
kriminal o basura, lalo pa para magdemand kayo na bawiin ang award n
Mocha, ay ABUSO TO THE MAX NA! LALABAN
AKO NG PUSTAHAN kahit kainno sa inyo na kapag kayo o ang asosasyon na kinaaaniban
ninyo o magbbigay sa inyo ng award ang kokondenahin
ng walang tigil na parang peste sa lipunan tulad ng ginagawa ni Mocha, tiyak na
MAGWAWALA KAYO NG MASAHOL PA SA HAYOP!
Strictly speaking, there’s NO LEGAL OR MORAL
REASON for anyone of you to make a BIG DEAL out of the award for Mocha.
The award did not break any law, did it?
Neither is it against the 10 commandments of God or any doctrine of the Church.
Nor did it result in the death of anone of you or of your loved ones, loss of
property or jobs or livelihood opportunities.
Did Mocha’s award DEHUMANIZE any of you downgrade your reputation in
society?
I repeat, anyone is free to criticize Mocha’s
award. But criticisms should also be bound by REASON, FAIR PLAY and CIVILITY. 30
