RESIGNATION WOULD BE WISER FOR SERENO!

Maria Lourdes Sereno

 27 Feb. 2018

A report in gmanews.tv says Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno decided to go on leave starting March 1 after a number of her colleagues directly urged her to RESIGN OR GO ON LEAVE during the regular en banc, or full court session of the Supreme Court.   This is the link: (http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/news/nation/644775/sereno-takes indefinite-wellness-leave-amid-impeach-hearings-report/story/?just_in).

If she believes in DELICADEZA, it would be wiser for Sereno to RESIGN and not just go on vacation.

In an inquirer.net story (http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/971654/sources-say-sereno-to-go-on-indefinite-leave-but-cjs-camp-refutes-it), Sereno’s camp confirmed her leave. But they DID NOT DENY the gmanerws.tv story on her being asked by other justices to resign or go on leave. As I was writing this blog, there were NO DENIALS from any other SC justice either. So it would be TOTALLY LOGICAL to think that other SC justices WANT SERENO OUT of the Court, TEMPORARILY OR PERMANENTLY. I only know of one APPROPRIATE DESCRIPTION for this kind of situation – LOSS OF CONFIDENCE,

Add to this, guys, Sereno’s CONFIRMED NON-COMPLIANCE to the REQUIREMENT for the submission of COMPLETE statements of assets, liabilities and net worth during the nomination process for Chief Justice. And her questionable acts as Chief Justice which were exposed in congressional hearings.

  2. Sereno would rather consider resigning now, after all these disclosed anomalies from SALN, tax payments and questionable appointment.
