Leni Robredo’s lead counsel Romulo Macalintal said in a gmanews.tv story (http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/news/nation/642463/bluffing-no-show-bongbong-signed-wrong-pleading-robredo-lawyer/story/?top_picks&order=1) that for signing a "joint manifestation," instead of a "joint motion," Bongbong Marcos was bluffing when he dared her to withdraw all pending motions before the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) .

A person is bluffing when he or she says something but does not do it, immediately or by the process. In his joint manifestation, Bongbong STUCK TO HIS CHALLENGE to Leni for them to withdraw all their respective pending motions before the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET). A top caliber but low-profile lawyer I consulted said Bongbong even showed good faith by signing the joint manifestation,

The lawyer said the joint manifestation was a good move on the part of Bongbong because once Leni signs it, she will be compelled to follow it. He said Macalintal knows that once Leni signs the joint manifestation, a joint motion will follow from Bongbong’s camp.

“If Leni does not sign the manifestation and Bongbong still withdraws all his pending motions, Leni won’t be obligated to do the same if it suddenly turns out that she still has unresolved motions. There’s no reason why Leni or Macaintal won’t sign Bongbong’s joint manifestation if they really have no hanging motions,” the lawyer noted

The lawyer agreed with me that it was SUSPICIOUS for Len’s camp to invite Bongbong to a press conference for the signing of a joint motion if there are no pending ones on their end. “What is the motion for if Leni’s camp has no pending motion to withdraw, as they claim?”

Bottom line, it’s Leni who’s bluiffing. Not Bongbong. 30
