Waka ng duda, PINAKAMAKAPAL NA talaga ang mukha
ni Noynoy Aquino.

Aquino wants to blame former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo for the crisis
plaguing the Metro Rail Transit -3 (MRT-3).
He said a total overhaul of MRT-3 was supposed to have been implemented
by the Arroyo Administration but was never carried out. When he took over, then
maintenance contractor Sumitomo wanted to raise fees and eliminate warranty.

Noynoy:
NOWHERE in the story did he SPECIFY the details
of the supposed overhaul ---date, technical aspects/justification, terms and
conditions, duration, costs and the like. There’s no reaction from Sumitomo in the story
but assuming, just assuming, the firm indeed wanted to raise costs, Noynoy DID
NOT ALSO EXPLAIN why his government dropped the company as maintenance contractor.
Anybody correct me if I’m wrong but THROUGHOUT
NOYNOY’S PRESIDENCY, NO MAJOR REHABILITATION/.OVERHAUL of MRT-3 WAS EVER
REPORTED. It came to a point wherein, among others, escalators and elevators
were not working and toilets smelled like rats in various stations and the
airconditioning system was WORSE than a rundown restaurant kitchen.
But MRT-3 fares were INCREASED during Noynoy’s
presidency, by almost 50 percent. Then Transportation Sec. Joseph Emilio Abaya
first said the higher fares was for improvements in the train system. Then he
said it was for backpayments to the earnings of the private sector partners.
All these, despite mounting complaints from
passengers and increasing exposes on various anomalies, like the maintenance
contract for which Abaya is now facing charges. And Noynoy NEVER PENALIZED OR
MADE ANYONE ACCOUNTABLE.
