Leila de Lima vowed to “continue opposing this murderous regime” (obviously refering
to the Duterte Administration) following the “Prize for Freedom” award she
received from the Liberal International (LI).
Before ANYBODY, especially FOREIGNERS and our
countrymen abroad, gets FOOLED OR MISLED by De Lima’s BASELESS reaction, let’s
be VERY CLEAR:
To date, De Lima HAS NOT PROVEN that even ONE
DEATH in the Duterte government’s anti-drug war was a summary execution
DIRECTLY ORDERED by President Digong or any other official. Neither has De Lima’s
comrades in the Opposition managed to do so. Her ONLY EVIDENCE so far is HER
OWN WORDS AND BIASED OPINION on the drug war killings. And there is NO LAW which says whatever a
senator says is automatically the truth, even WITHOUT ANY PROOF. Anybody
correct me if I’m wrong.
So for De Lima to categorically describe the
Duterte Government as a murderous regime is a TOTALLY SHAMELESS LIE which aims
to MISLEAD THE PEOPLE to hate President Digong. There have been suspicious
killings in the drug war, yes. But this is NOT the majority of the fatalities
and definitely NOT REFLECTIVE OR REPRESENTATIVE of the entire Duterte
Government.
Whether anii-Dutertes like or not, these
suspicious deaths are being investigated.
Not just by the Philippine National Police (PNP) but even by their ally
the Commission on Human Rights (CHR). The CHR has NOT BEEN ABOLISHED. It has
not been asked by Digong or anyone else in the government to stop investigating
the drug wear deaths. Its budget request in the hundreds of millions has been
restored (and even increased if I remember right).
So for De Lima to DEMONIZE the Duterte
Government for its supposed “outright disregard for human rights and trampling
of human dignity” is the MOTHER OF ALL LIES and a DELUSION of the truth being
ONLY WHAT OR HOW SHE WANTS IT TO BE!
And anybody who instantly believes De Lima’s words
as Gospel truth had better visit a psychiatrist and English professor, FAST! 30
